Reviews

  • I met philologist Antonia Kollyrou in December 2012 at the 16th Middle School in Patras where I was headmaster.
We enjoyed an excellent working relationship. She is very knowledgeable in the subjects she teaches.
She shows keen interest in keeping up with developments in the subjects she teaches as well as the laws that govern teaching,
examinations and the functioning of the school.
Her relationships with students are guided by a pedagogical approach.
She makes no distinctions; all students are treated equally, regardless of race, gender, religion or performance.
  • I met my teacher, Kollirou Antonia, during my vacations in Greece in summer of 2018.
Then we had our first lessons and we continued our sessions on line.
She taught me ancient Greek, we ran together through some texts of Plato, Aristoteles, Aeschylus and Sophocles.
With her help and my studying I managed to be accepted in the University of Oxford in the department of Classical Studies.
  • After an accident I had, I suffered from slight amnesia.
My doctor recommended to study ancient Greek grammar in order to improve my condition,
so I took the decision to visit Greece for three months and to take some lessons.
There I met my teacher, Kollirou Antonia.
We had lessons every day sharing till the end the same passion for ancient Greek culture and language.
